At near Moscow Le Meridien Moscow Country Club on September 13 and 14 took place a traditional tournament of the magazine Golf Digest – The Fifth Open Championship of CIS and Baltic states VIII International Tournament Golf Digest Cup’2006. “Russian Investment Club” was the sponsor of the tournament.

Eight years on end the magazine Golf Digest held exclusive in Russian golf-calendar competitions in which took part the strongest golfers from former Republics of the Soviet Union. Individual championship took place on the first day of the tournament. The next day 28 teams including the team of “Russian Investment Club” came out to the field of nakhabinskiy golf club. At the end of the tournament the results were reviewed and the owners of main rewards determined. The award of “Russian Investment Club” (a collection edition of the works of A.P.Chekhov) was given to S. Naumov who also represented its team at the tournament. Besides, “Russian Investment Club” arranged for the guests of the tournament tasting of its cognac Tiffon.

Thanks to wonderful weather the evening was unforgettable. The guests stayed at the terrace of the club house to admire near Moscow sights till darkness. The right summer and sunny day ended. Bye for the next tournament.
